Amsterdam, Netherlands, 31 Jan, 2012 –– Panasonic Europe today announced the PT-DZ770K projector with 7,000 lumens of brightness and Full-HD ready WUXGA (1,920 x1,200) resolution. In addition to vivid picture quality, the projector offers easy maintenance, 24/7 durability and installation flexibility. The PT-DZ770K joins Panasonic’s popular line of dual lamp 1-chip DLP projectors, the D6000 Series, offering high resolution and brightness and meeting a broader range of usage environments including conference rooms, controlrooms and environments requiring higher resolution images.

With WUXGA resolution and a contrast ratio of 2,500:1, the PT-DZ770K delivers a sharp picture enhanced by Panasonic’s proprietary RGB Booster, Detail Clarity Processor, andSystem Daylight View 2 functions. The RGB Booster ensures high image quality with outstanding colour reproduction and brightness by changing the lamp intensity in relation to each colour wheel segment. Detail Clarity Processor embellishes fine details to utilize the advantages of WUXGA resolution, while the PT-DZ770K also offers a variety of preset picture modes including Rec.709 mode, ideal for broadcast/film classes, and DICOM Simulation mode *1, for viewing X-ray graphics, MRIs, and CT scans during medical conferences.

“The addition of the high-brightness PT-DZ770K to our popular D6000 projector range marks a new range of application possibilities,” said Hartmut Kulessa, Marketing Manager for Projectors at Panasonic Europe. “Offering a brightness of 7,000 lumens, the PT-DZ770K combines high resolution with the system-flexibility of the D6000 series, making it ideal for a variety of applications in education, corporate presentation, showrooms, medical etc.

”With an environmentally-friendly Eco Filter that can be used for up to 12,000 hours without cleaning, the PT-DZ770K is cost-effective and easy to maintain. The dual lamp system ensures that, in the case of a lamp failing, another lamp will continue to run removing the possibility of presentation interruptions as a result of unexpected lamp failure. In an institution with multiple projectors, keeping lamp stock is easy with the DZ770K, since it uses the same lamp as the rest of the Panasonic’s 1 chip DLP projector line up--D6000 andDZ570 series.

The PT-DZ770K offers excellent installation flexibility with horizontal/vertical-lens shift and a wide range of optional lenses, including a short throw ET-DLE080 (0.8-1.0:1) lens. Special projection is also possible with built in Edge Blending and Multi Screen Support system that allows seamless connection of multiple screens for extended immersive images.

Panasonic offers Multi Projector Monitoring & Control Software, which is capable of controlling and monitoring multiple projectors at same time over a wired LAN network. The projector is compatible with PJLink™, RoomView Connected, and Device Discovery. Other valuable features include Side-by-Side function, HDMI digital input terminal, direct power off, and mechanical lens shutter.
