Panasonic expands projector portfolio across new market segments

Latest projectors designed for a range of functions including large venue projection, education and business applications (Wiesbaden)

Amsterdam, Netherlands, 31 Jan, 2012 – Panasonic Europe today announced four new projector ranges for business, teaching and large venue projection applications. With a selection of features including high brightness, HD capability and enhanced portability, these models are designed for the entry-level market. The PT-EX12K LCD Projector range offers a remarkable 12,000lm brightness and XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, providing bright screen images ideal for large-space viewing such as event and conference venues. The 12,000lm brightness is achieved by the incorporation of two 380W lamps; and its high 4000:1 contrast ratio ensures clear, sharp and crisp images.The image quality is also supported by the Pure Colour Control function and full 10-bit image processing system. The Pure Colour Control function independently controls the light intensity of yellow colouring providing rich overall colour expression while maintaining bright, life-like images.The next offering, the PT-DZ770K offers 7,000 lumens of brightness and Full-HD ready WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution. In addition to vivid picture quality, the projector offers easy maintenance, durability and installation flexibility.

This model joins the D6000 range of dual lamp 1-chip DLP projectors, offering high resolution and brightness. This series isdesigned for conference rooms, control rooms and environments requiring higher resolution images.

The PT-LZ370E LCD series of full high definition projectors, offers high accuracy images with 3,000lm brightness and 10,000:1 contrast ratio, creating vivid images, ideal for teaching and presentations in applications such as engineering, art, film and education, as well as corporate meetings. Additionally the range offers a zoom range of 2x zoom with wide lens shift and RoomView™ compatibility for high colour fidelity.The final range in this market segment is the PT-VW430 which provides high brightness and ultra portability. This model offers brightness of 5,000 lumens (PT-VX500/PT-VX505N) and high contrast ratio of 3,000:1, high-output 280W lamps, along with a built-in cooling system all within a portable compact body.
